Shiba Inu Adds Nearly 36,000 Holders Since June Despite Crypto Market Turmoil

The price trend of Shiba Inu has been following the rest of the cryptocurrency market and remains negative. Notably, SHIB is still seeking to reclaim the high points it reached last year, when the value and popularity of the meme coin surged. As of this writing, SHIB is trading at $0.00001145, down 4.5% in the last seven days, data from Coingecko show, Sunday. Despite the crypto market’s sluggish condition, a portion of the dog-themed coin’s investors are optimistic that the asset will recover and are boosting their coin purchases while ignoring the market’s weakness. According to data from CoinMarketCap, as of September 24, SHIB has 1,226,031 holding addresses, representing an increase of around 35,835 new holdings over the course of three months. The new holders represent a 3% increase from the 1,190,195 who were registered on June 26. Related Reading: Dogecoin (DOGE) Is On Top Of Whales’ Menu – Here’s Why Shiba Inu: Increasing Use Case In addition to the prospect that new SHIB holders may wager on the coin’s appreciation, investors are likely drawn by SHIB’s rising utility. It is worth mentioning that interest in meme-based cryptocurrencies waned as a result of unfavorable publicity around the coins’ supposed lack of utility. Since June, Shiba Inu’s value has been on a roller-coaster ride, but the price has mostly remained low. The coin’s three-month high price was $0.000017 on August 15, and as of the time of writing, it had gained about 5% in the last 24 hours. Previously, the majority of retail investors liquidated around the price and then sought entry points as the memetoken approached $0.00001. Due to the massive concentration of tokens in the hands of small and medium-sized whales, Shiba Inu faces a significant increase in selling pressure whenever it succeeds to breach past local resistance barriers. Holding On To The Meme Coin Meanwhile, around 30% of SHIB investors have held the asset for more than a year, according to statistics from Into The Block. Despite the ongoing bear market, investors have generally abstained from disposing of their coins. These holders are fostering a bullish mood among investors while aiming to eliminate SHIB as a quick-profit asset. As of the time of writing, the trading volume of Shiba Inu is still declining, hence the token’s volatility remains high. The decline in trade volume is unfavorable for a coin that heavily depends on speculative appeal. As the number of SHIB holders increases, it appears that interest in the coin is waning. Google Trends data indicates that global searches for the keyword “Shiba Inu” decreased to their lowest level in the past 12 months, suggesting that SHIB could be losing its most avid fans. How Metamask Gambling Is Decentralizing The Online Casino Industry

    crypto basset hound

Metamask gambling has been growing in popularity over the last couple of years. With the rise of the Web3 space and online crypto gambling, Metamask managed to fill in a gap that brings both sectors closer to one another. Crypto casinos are taking more to integrate the Metamask wallets on their websites for gambling activities. Using a decentralized Web3 wallet like this ensures that users of these gambling platforms are able to enjoy features that are not available on more conventional online casinos. Why Metamask Gambling Is Better One drawback of conventional casinos is the arduous sign-up processes that are usually associated with them. However, casinos had started to move towards accepting crypto deposits and withdrawals, which, over time, had required less stringent sign-up processes. But even this was not a seamless process. This is where Metamask gambling enters the picture. Metamask is a Web3 wallet that allows users to interact directly with cryptocurrency networks. It had started out on the Ethereum blockchain but had since expanded to include other blockchains such as BSC, Avalanche, etc. It comes in the form of a browser extension and mobile application from which users can directly connect to Web3 websites. It is also an easy-to-use hot wallet where users can receive coins by simply copying their addresses to forward to the sender. Given this, Metamask has found a natural home in the online gambling industry. Gambling websites are able to integrate the Metamask wallets directly on their platforms, making it possible for users to register or log into the website using the wallet, as well as processing faster deposits and withdrawals. Best Metamask Casinos Metamask gambling casinos have been known to provide some or all of the integrations mentioned above. In some cases, some casinos will offer the option to deposit with Metamask only or the option to use the hot wallet as a means of authorization. So, here are the top 3 Metamask gambling casinos that you should look at. Bitcasino Bitcasino is arguably one of the best Metamask gambling casinos in existence. It offers full functionality with Metamask, making it a one-stop shop for all things Metamask gambling. Users can register and log into the platform using their Metamask wallets. Bitcasino also takes this one step further by offering deposits and withdrawals using Metamask. Users can also use other tokens on the wallet, such as USDT, on the Bitcasino website. Players should, however, note that there are some things not offered by Bitcasino in this regard, such as a welcome bonus for ETH players. Users may also be required to complete a KYC verification when the casino requires it. Nevertheless, Bitcasino offers beloved slot games, as well as a wide variety of live casino games. The betting platform is also one of the few crypto casinos that offer betting on eSports. However, users cannot place crypto bets on games such as Crash or Dice. BC.GAME BC.Game has been pretty much the only Metamask gambling platform that supports the BSC network. This casino allows the direct integration of Metamask but for deposits. Users can also use the wallet to carry out authorizations on the platform. And unlike Bitcasino, BC.Game supports a much wider array of tokens, including ETH and MATIC. While it does have a welcome bonus, there is no stable welcome bonus on the platform. Also, similar to Bitcasino, BC.Game can also require users to go through KYC verifications. However, users get one free spin daily with a prize of up to 1 BTC. Sportsbet.io The third on the list is Sportsbet.io. It is a Metamask gambling platform that allows a minimum deposit of 10 USDT and offers a stable welcome bonus, unlike the others. Users can get up to 2000 wager-free spins that are worth 200 USDT. Furthermore, users can use their Metamask wallets to authorize their accounts, as well as make deposits and withdrawals. It also accepts other tokens available on the hot wallet, such as ETH and SOC. Like the others, Sportsbet.io comes with its own disadvantages, such as KYC verification and the fact that there are no provably fair crypto games. However, the betting platform is extremely popular and is currently the principal sponsor of the English Premier League football club Watford FC. Conclusion Metaverse gambling platforms are still very new, but they have already proven their value to the online crypto gaming space. As more platforms innovate toward integrating Metamask gambling, these advantages are bound to become more apparent to the gambling community. But for now, the platforms offering Metamask gambling are a small pool and only support a handful of tokens at this time.   Image by Alexa from Pixabay

Cosmos ATOM Also Loses Its Gains As Market Fluctuates Heavily

    crypto basset hound

ATOM remained an exception to the general downtrend of the crypto market for a couple of days as it continued to gain despite heavy price fluctuations of other tokens. The Ethereum Merge took place successfully on September 15th, marking a historic moment in the history of crypto. However, just as some analysts predicted, it did not result in a spike as optimists have forecasted. In fact, most cryptos, including ETH, and BTC, experienced a downturn at the same time. This confirmed the “Buy the rumor, sell the news” tag; crypto analysts conferred on the event in advance. Related Reading: XRP Price Rallied 7%, Is It Gearing To Test The Next Resistance? Nonetheless, one token continued to stand out amidst the bearish market trends, the native crypto of the Cosmos protocol. Despite the extreme market fluctuations, ATOM continued to glide upward, gaining up to 20% in 48hours. ATOM is trading below $16 at the time of writing, still above more than 10% of its pre-merge price of $14. The Cosmos native token has been experiencing its up and downs in an ever-ascending trendline, unlike the wider market. ATOM Gains Were Due To IBC and Staking Opportunities The recent gains lead back to the influx of protocols migrating to the Cosmos blockchain. After the crash of the Terra ecosystem, several projects rebuilt their operations on Cosmos Hub. Consequently, each project adds value to ATOM by participating in the inter-blockchain security system IBC. Cosmos also offers staking opportunities with a lucrative APY of close to 18%. Furthermore, the network is introducing different utilities into its ecosystem, which will increase the value of ATOM going forward. One of these is the liquidity staking the protocol is ready to launch. Additionally, protocols on Cosmos are preparing to launch their own stablecoins, with ATOM most likely the primary assets for minting. Recent Macroeconomic Events Contribute to Increased Market Volatility Meanwhile, recent macroeconomic events have increased bearish pressure on the digital assets market. As cryptos struggle to breach various price barriers and flip bullish, these factors bear down, causing the assets to fluctuate. Events like the recent release of the August inflation data reveal the continued rise of inflation. Related Reading: Chiliz (CHZ) Could Be Set For A Hot Streak With This Data Ethereum, for instance, has been rising and falling within the $1,700 and $1,500 range in the past seven days. Its volatility curve has been on a downward trend for the past week. The second largest crypto by market cap is down 11% since the Merge. ETH is currently trading below $1,500. As for Bitcoin, the crypto dropped below the $21,000 zero mark on Thursday in response to the Tuesday inflation data release. The first coin has been trading inconsistently within the range of $19,000 to $23,000. BTC is trading at above $20,000 at the time of writing.
